A new women’s fitness club ‘CHAARG’es forward at Taylor

“A lot of women are just told that if you want to work out, you just have to figure it out,” Sydney Vargo, sophomore human physiology and preventative medicine major, said. “I’m so excited about CHAARG because it will give women a space to learn how to worship through movement.”

Turning Point at TU undergoes review

Approximately 100 students and faculty members gathered for the Turning Point USA (TPUSA) callout meeting in the Butz-Carruth Recital Hall, Monday Sept. 29 at 7 p.m. The meeting served to inform the campus about TPUSA’s mission and gauge student interest in the club as it moves through the approval process.

Taylor University welcomes Taylor for Life, a pro-life club, to campus. With a dual focus on education and outreach, Taylor for Life will equip members to serve vulnerable women and children within their communities, Alaina Ventry, one of the founders, said.

Taylor plans for new track complex

Taylor University plans to construct a new track and field complex in the spring of 2026. The field will include upgrades such as an improved surface, expanded bleachers and ticketing facilities.

Upland town council makes changes to budget

The Upland town council altered the town budget, heard a proposal for Jefferson Pathway’s trail to be made of limestone rather than concrete and approved the second reading for the 2026 Annexation on Sept. 16.
