Taylor is building a new parking lot west of the Facilities Building, exclusively for freshman use.
During the Chapel service on Jan. 26, President D. Michael Lindsay announced the construction of a new Taylor landmark: a 50-foot high cross and surrounding amphitheater, funded by a $10 million donation. Yet some students are questioning whether a cross is truly what Taylor needs.
Taylor University is updating its artificial intelligence (AI) policy, introducing a new academic AI for faculty and receiving a grant to fund research into the impact of AI.

O’Brien works at Samaritan’s Purse’s Campus Relations team, travelling to different universities and telling of the work the organization does.
Thomas Kidd, research professor of church history at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, spoke on the faith of Thomas Jefferson and his complex relationship to Scripture on Oct. 23 for Taylor’s Halbrook Lecture in the Recital Hall.
