Lim and Fulda shine for TU golf

As the flowers bloom and temperatures are finally heating up, the Taylor women’s and men’s golf teams are heating up as well. Senior Shayne Lim finished in second place for the women, just one stroke behind first.

Taylor lacrosse still setting records despite recent skid

Taylor men’s lacrosse is beginning to slow down after their blistering start to a record-setting season. Taylor will, however, have an opportunity to host a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament game for the first time in program history if they are able to defeat one of their last two opponents: Michigan-Dearborn or No. 1 Madonna.

After getting traded just a month prior, Chicago Bulls’ guard, Jaden Ivey, brought his new team a level of attention hardly any would wish for. He made several statements on his Instagram, calling out the world and the NBA’s support of Pride Month and the LGBTQ+ community.

Taylor baseball powers to a 38-3 record

Taylor baseball is currently sitting at No. 1 in the NAIA Poll. The Trojans are on a 20 game-win streak. A big part of this success stems from a strong culture between both coaches and players.

Women’s tennis set for conference play after first spring win

Taylor women’s tennis claimed its first victory of the spring over IU Kokomo on March 17. The Trojans have a young roster, with only two sophomores and five freshmen. The team has seen growth since the beginning of the season, something Coach Grubbs has been proud of.

Ben Harrell finds home with lacrosse team

Harrell, a junior, sits as the all-time leader in saves for the program with 467. This season, he has 107 saves through seven games, giving him 15.3 saves per game with nine games left on the year. He is currently on pace to save nearly 250 shots on goal this season.

Women’s basketball wraps up season

Taylor women’s basketball appeared in the NAIA national tournament for the 10th time in school history, capping off a record-setting year for the Trojans. The No.12 Trojans fell to the No. 5 Georgetown Tigers in the first round of the tournament 83-58.

Men’s tennis prioritizes culture during rebuild

While the men have had a rocky start to the season, with an overall record of 4-8, they are prioritizing building healthy relationships with one another, along with strong work ethics. After the loss, the team swiftly responded with a 4-3 home court victory against Indiana University East, marking the Trojans’ first win of the spring.

Though Taylor softball had a rocky start to the season, finishing pre-conference play with a 5-7 record, the team flipped the script with the start of Crossroads League play. The Trojans have a conference record of 5-1, with an overall record of 10-8.


Jaynie Halterman sets new NAIA record in 5k race

Women’s track team competes in NAIA Indoor Championships

Taylor accumulated 13 points, finishing 26th as a team in the NAIA National Championship. Jaynie Halterman electrified the Trojans, taking home the gold medal in the 5,000-meter race and breaking her previous NAIA record in the process with a time of 15:52.27.

Men’s track and field finds glory in Gainsville

The Trojans wrapped up yet another indoor track season on March 7. The men’s team capped off a successful NAIA Nationals appearance. Eight Trojans earned All-CL Honors in their respective events this season, totaling 11 awards in total.
