Madisyn Standridge (softball)
Madisyn Standridge was a multi-tooled player, completing a four-year career with Taylor softball. The righty third baseman is from Alexandria, Indiana. She earned four varsity letters playing for the Madison Grant High School Argylls. She also competed in club softball for the Indiana Beasts prior to her time with the Trojans.
Standridge delivered strong defense while hitting a .538 slugging percentage (SLG) in the 2026 season and a .624 SLG in 2025.
She was a standout player in the Crossroads League throughout her time as a Trojan. On May 4, she earned the 2026 CL Gold Glove Team honor for third base. She was Second-Team All-CL in 2024 and 2025, earning 2023 All-CL Honorable Mention her freshman year.
The Trojan’s 10-0 sweep against Goshen on April 25 marked a memorable senior day performance for Standridge, as she and fellow senior, Kaylee Larkin, each launched a home run. The home run was one of five for Standridge’s last season.
Standridge ended her senior season with 37 RBIs, a .316 AVG and .357 OBP.
Kaylee Larkin (Softball)
Kaylee Larkin was a standout pitcher and first baseman for Taylor softball. She lettered four years playing for the Brownsburg High School Bulldogs in her hometown of Brownsburg, Ind. She also competed for the Indiana Shockwaves in club ball before playing four years at Taylor.
Larkin was an offensive powerhouse, amassing 40 home runs in her career, just two shy of the program record. 12 of them came from the 2025-2026 season. She set the Taylor slugging percentage record with a .821 her sophomore year.
Larkin was named Second-Team NAIA All-American and NAIA Player of the Week in 2024. She claimed multiple conference awards throughout her campaign as well: 2026 Second-Team All-Crossroads League, 2025 Honorable Mention All-CL and 2024 First-Team All-CL.
Larkin ended her senior season notably, with 40 RBIs and a .363 AVG.
Josh Forbes
(Men’s Track and Field)
Josh Forbes, is a Fishers, InJosh Forbes, a Fishers, Ind. native, began pole vault for Taylor after earning four varsity letters for the Fishers High School Tigers and training at the DC Athletics training facility.
He is an eight-time NAIA National Championships qualifier, securing his spots during every indoor and outdoor season throughout his career. Forbes tied the Taylor men’s pole vault record at five meters, or 16 feet 4.75 inches during outdoor nationals his sophomore year.
Forbes has earned four All-American awards, along with the College Sports Communicators (CSC) First-Team Academic All-American in 2024 and Second-Team Academic All-American in 2025.
Forbes commenced his senior indoor season with a three-meet win streak, taking victory at the Indiana Tech Invitational, George Glass Invite and Indiana Wesleyan Midwest Classic.
The Crossroads League recognized him as the Men’s Field Athlete of the Week on Monday, March 30.
Jared Stayte
(Men’s Track and Field)
Jared Stayte is an exercise science major and notable distance runner for both Taylor’s track and field team. He attended Franklin Community High School in Franklin, Ind., where he earned four varsity letters for the Grizzly Cubs.
During outdoor track season, he specializes in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, in which he qualified for the NAIA National Championships for three consecutive years. He finished seventh at nationals in 2025, earning him an All-American label.
Stayte holds the third-best Taylor record in the steeplechase with a time of 9:09.40, which he set during his All-American earning on Indiana Wesleyan’s track last year. He came close to this personal-best at the distinguished Drake Relays on April 23, clocking a 9:09.42, where he hit NAIA A Standard for this year’s national qualification. At the Fighting Chance Meet on May 8, Stayte also hit NAIA B Standard in the 1,500-meter race with a time of 3:50.75.
Kiana Siefert
(Women’s Track and Field)
Kiana Siefert is a vital asset to women’s track and field.
Siefert has qualified for the NAIA National Championships a total of seven times throughout her indoor and outdoor career. In 2025, she earned the title of All-American in long jump with a third-place finish.
The Noblesville, Ind. native collected almost 31% of the Trojans’ 116.5 points at the Crossroads League Championships on May 1. She claimed individual victories in her first ever heptathlon, along with the 100-meter hurdles. She also secured runner-up in triple jump and the 4x100-meter relay.
The relay team of Siefert, Nicole Braz Domene, D’Arjha Davis and Blessing Ogbeiwi hit NAIA B Standard with a time of 47.20. Prior, Siefert was the first Trojan to hit NAIA standard for the 2026 season. Her time of 14.09 in the 100-meter hurdles at the Marian Knight Open provisionally qualified her for nationals with B Standard.
She improved her time to a 13.92 at the Fighting Chance Meet to set the program record. She also holds the farthest triple jump in Taylor history at 11.5 meters.
Noel Bass
(Women’s Track and Field)
Noel (VanderWall) Bass is a distance athlete for both Taylor cross country and track and field. In her hometown of Petoskey, Mich., she competed for the Petoskey High School Northmen, earning eight varsity letters across the two sports.
Bass is a seven-time NAIA National qualifier across a variety of distances. From the mile, 3,000-meter, 4x800-meter relay and distance-medley relay her freshman indoor season to the 4x800-meter relay for the 2026 outdoor championships her senior year, Bass is a strong competitor for the Trojans.
The indoor 4x800-meter relay of Bass, Addie Draper, Emersyn Funk and Malarie Pinwar was an NAIA A Standard qualifier with a time of 9:13.58. She finished the 5,000-meter race at the Kip Janvrin Open with a time of 17:37.45 on April 24, which was the 25th fastest in the NAIA at the time.
Bass is married to men’s-side teammate, Tiernan Bass. Her sister, Ahna (VanderWall) Neideck (’24), also ran track and cross country at Taylor.
Will Schuitema (Men’s Golf)
Originally from Indianapolis, Will Schuitema was a successful asset to the Taylor men’s golf. Schuitema was home-schooled before beginning his four-year career at Taylor.
He contributed greatly to the men’s runner-up finish at 2026 Crossroads League Championships, as the team fell just two shots shy of winner No. 14 Marian. He held a second-place finish individually as well, falling three under-par with a round of 68.
During the fall campaign, Schuitema placed first for the Trojans at the Stonehenge Invitational and the Battle of Blackthorn. He posted the lowest 36-hole total in program history at Blackthorn, finishing 11 under-par with scores of 68 and 65. The previous record was 10 under-par.
Following this performance, Schuitema was the CL Men’s Golfer of the Week on Sept. 29, 2025.
He was named 2024 and 2025 First-Team All-CL. The mathematics major held a 3.65 GPA in 2024 and a 3.63 in 2025 to earn him NAIA Academic All-District both years.
Kyle Kasitz (Men’s Golf)
Kyle Kasitz is a Wichita, Kansas native and golfer for Taylor. He attended Maize South High School before wearing the purple and gray for four years.
The sport management major earned Crossroads League Golfer of the Week on Sept. 9, 2025, after tying for the victory at the Lawrence Tech Collegiate Kickoff to begin the fall season. His rounds of 73 and 74 helped lead Taylor to the team title at the competition.
On Oct. 7, Kasitz also tied with teammate Aaron Fulda to win the Egypt Valley Championship with a plus-nine score of 225, shooting rounds of 76, 73 and 76.
As a sophomore, Kasitz was a 2024 All-CL Honorable Mention. He was also a 2025 All-CL Honorable Mention his junior year, with a 76.5 scoring average, despite injuries.
Shayne Lim
(No. 18 Women’s Golf)
Shayne Lim was a highlight player for No. 18 Taylor women’s golf. She is originally from Singapore, where she attended Nanyang Girls’ High School.
Lim secured a ninth-place individual place at the Crossroads League Championships on May 5. She shot a pair of 78s on the first day of the competition, before finishing with a 75 on the second day to total a score of 231 for the 54-hole course. She was recognized as the CL Golfer of the Week on March 23, which marked her fifth time receiving the title throughout her college career.
She also finished as the runner-up at the 54-hole Lindsey Wilson Spring Invite, going 71, 75 and 74 to total 220.
She set her successful precedent early in her senior season, placing in the top 25 among nationally ranked Division II schools at the Folds of Honor Challenge during the fall campaign.
Xander Bateman
(Men’s Lacrosse)
Xander Bateman is native of Kuda, Idaho, where he attended Kuda High School. He played as a defenseman for Taylor men’s lacrosse all four years at Taylor.
This year, he was named to the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Champions of Character Team. The character selection is awarded to athletes who portray the NAIA’s five core character values: integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship and servant leadership.
He played in all 19 games during the 2026 season, scooping 23 ground balls and notching 16 caused turnovers.
Bateman was a key player in the historic 15-8 win over Siena Heights on April 18, where he and fellow defenseman Carter Taylor pushed the Saints back by combining for 5 caused turnovers. The senior day marked the Trojans’ advancement to the WHAC Tournament for the third time in school history.
Lucas Pacer (Men’s Lacrosse)
Originally a student at Wheaton North High School in Wheaton, Ill., Lucas Pacer was a prominent player for Taylor men’s lacrosse. Rostered as a long-stick midfielder (LSM) his freshman through junior year, he played as a defenseman his senior year.
During his last season with the Trojans, he ranked first in the NAIA for caused turnovers with 58 and third in ground balls with 131, leading the WHAC in both.
Pacer played in all 19 games during the 2026 season, securing him as Taylor’s program leader for most games played and started.
On April 6, he was announced as the WHAC Men’s Defensive Player of the Week for the second time in his career.
His vital performance in the purple and gray’s senior day victory over Siena Heights set two new records: most ground balls (16) and caused turnovers (8) for a single game in Taylor history.
Brayden Manning (Baseball)
Before attending Taylor, outfielder Brayden Manning was a two-sport athlete at Lakeview North High School, Minn. There, he earned two varsity letters, along with recognition for Perfect Game Honorable-Mention All-Region.
Upon joining the Trojans, Manning made an immediate impact, notching 17 multiple-hit games, 12 home runs and batting .330, while providing excellent defense as a freshman. He also tied the NAIA World Series record by hitting three doubles against Georgia Gwinnett College in 2023.
Across four years at Taylor, the slugger has been named Academic All-Crossroads League, NAIA Scholar-Athlete, 2023 NAIA World Series All-Tournament Team and two time First-Team All-CL.
In 2026, Manning posted his best offensive season, batting .426 with a .510 on-base percentage and a .708 slugging percentage. He also provided a crucial walk-off single against No. 23 Marian to help the Trojans advance in the CL Tournament.
Manning ends his collegiate career with a .363 batting average, .441 OBP and .605 SLG and 110 extra base hits.
Ben Kennedy (Baseball)
Infielder Ben Kennedy had a lengthy track record prior to his time at Taylor. The Evansville Central High School, Ind. product earned four varsity letters in addition to being named Courier & Press All-Metro, Second-Team All-SIAC and Academic All-Indiana.
Since entering college, Kennedy’s excellence continued both on and off the field. A two-time NAIA Scholar Athlete, the human physiology and preventative medicine major provided a blend of offensive and defensive prowess. He led the Trojans in fielding assists in both 2024 and 2025 and picked up a Crossroads League Gold Glove in 2025 as well.
Offensively, the infielder improved his batting average, on-base percentage and slugging percentage in each consecutive year. In 2026, he produced a career year, batting .373, with a .505 OBP, .671 SLG and nine home runs.
