Three years ago, I stepped into my first Echo training week. I was nervous, worried and downright scared.

Men’s and women’s cross country opened their seasons on Sept. 10 in the annual Indiana Wesleyan Twilight Invitational. Both teams saw a plethora of personal bests as the men’s team came in second place and the women’s team finished first.

In May, Taylor announced the hiring of new head football coach Aaron Mingo after it was announced that long-time head coach Ron Korfmacher would not be retained after the 2021 spring season. Korfmacher now serves as Director of Church Relations at Taylor.
Not uncommon for these days, there was uncertainty about whether there would be a full season of athletics this year at Taylor, but as the spring semester winds down, every varsity sport was able to compete in a mostly full season.
