Jason Hubbard, the pride of Miamisburg, Ohio, closed out his illustrious basketball career as a Taylor Trojan. The 6-foot-7 forward cemented his legacy by becoming the program’s all-time leading scorer with 2,479 points and establishing a single-season scoring record in 2023 with 709 points.

The Taylor Women’s basketball team has had a rough stretch of games late in the season. With only one game left to go, they’ve dropped three of the four games in the month of February. The most brutal loss was to cross-town rival Indiana Wesleyan, by a score of 90-57. Two of those teams are either ranking or receiving votes to be ranked, while the other two teams are quite the competitors with the Crossroads League.

Taylor University competitive cheer is in its best year since debuting as a program in the spring of 2021. Two events into the current season, the Trojans have established program records three times over and in consecutive rounds.

Taylor women’s soccer ended their conference run on Nov. 9, falling to No. 2 Marian in the Crossroads League Tournament Semifinals. Although the Trojans did not finish on their own terms, they received a bid into the 2022 NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championship during a selection show held on Nov. 14.
