A tiny hole-in-the-wall roastery sits in Hartford City, just 15 minutes from Taylor’s campus. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by the warm aroma of freshly roasted beans and the friendly hum of a local favorite.
When inside, you can enjoy some of their pastries and sandwiches. You will find the common items and a large selection of fall drinks on the menu.
On my most recent visit, I enjoyed an iced caramel pumpkin chai, which was on the limited-time fall menu. It was very sweet but tasted like a perfect fall drink.
I have bought many other drinks on the menu, most of which were pretty strong. The roastery has a great variety of both really sweet and very strong drinks.
Beyond the drinks, I very much enjoyed the service. The atmosphere was pleasant. They were not extremely busy, so it was relatively quiet besides the employees working and taking orders and faint music playing.
Who’s Your Coffee Roastery uses all local and natural ingredients, which makes some of their food and drink items a bit pricey. I have never bought their ground coffee, but I hope to in the future. The slightly higher cost is understandable, considering the quality and care that go into each product on their menu.
The coffee shop’s atmosphere and service were very warm, clean and personal. There, you can enjoy not just coffee, pastries and sandwiches but also canned drinks ranging from sodas like Sprite and Coke to Olipop, Alani and a hydration drink called Unwell. Fridays feature a sandwich special that pairs perfectly with their seasonal drinks, making it a great spot for brunch or a midmorning break.
While the hours are relatively short, from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on weekdays, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays, and closed on Sundays, Who’s Your Coffee has a speedy drive-thru and takeout, which can prove quite helpful when you are in a rush.
Overall, Who’s Your Coffee is a small-town treasure that balances quality, atmosphere and authenticity. The prices may run a little high, but for a handcrafted drink or a cinnamon roll and a small moment of calm in your day, it’s well worth it.
